Stuffed dumplings with fusion food character

Stuffed dumplings usually make us think of ravioli or empanadas, but it's a different story. In this Reizenpt an ordinary pancake is used as dumplings. Therefore, the dish is wonderfully uncomplicated, prepared quickly and yet unusually delicious.
Fusion food or cross cooking refers to the mix of ingredients that at first glance do not match, but which are perfect in terms of taste. In this recipe strawberries, nectarines, mango and tuna are combined as a filling. Rather unusual, but all the better the positive surprise!

Ingredients for stuffed dumplings (for 4 people):

150g of flour
200ml of water
1 egg
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon vegetable oil
1 can of tuna fillet (in its own juice)
1 mango
500g strawberries
2 nectarines
200 ml sour cream
1 tbsp honey
Salt and fresh colorful pepper
1/2 bunch chives
12 tbsp dark balsamic

Preparation of veal-filled dumplings:

Drain tuna from the tin well. Wash the nectarines, remove seeds and cut into bite-sized pieces. Wash the mango, core it and cut into bite-sized pieces. Wash strawberries and cut in half. Wash chives, drain and finely cut.
Mix the flour, water, egg and 1/2 teaspoon of salt and bake in a sufficiently large pan with vegetable oil.
Stir sour cream and honey, season with salt and pepper.
Put the pancakes on a plate, sprinkle with the sour cream on one side, cover with fresh fruit and tuna, sprinkle with 2-3 tablespoons of balsamic vinegar and fold together. Sprinkle with chives and serve.

Worth knowing about filled dumplings:

If the dish is prepared between May and June, you can refine it with fresh wild garlic. Outside of its season, however, cut garlic is also suitable instead. If possible you should use a strawberry balsamic for the preparation, because this has compared to the usual balsamic a fruity aroma, which would fit particularly well.
Enrich the dish with a simple one green saladcontaining rucola or asiasalad, the slight spiciness of these salads would fit well.
The author of the recipe: We still have strawberries that are organically grown by an old family business. Every year since we have children, we drive to the field to pick ourselves and of course to snack a lot. At some point strawberry tarts and strawberry cake became too boring for us and I started to experiment with our favorite fruit. Among other things, these dumplings with strawberries and tuna was created, which is now a new favorite dish of family and our friends.
