Banana cake – easy and quick recipe:
Banana cake is a wonderful pastry which is a great choice as a birthday cake or for lunch. The recipe consists of a simple batter that is refined with pureed bananas and the almonds provide a great nutty taste. Bananas that are already very ripe and are no longer eaten that much can also be used in the dough.

Ingredients for the banana cake (for approx. 12 pieces):
4 ripe bananas
200 g soft butter
3 organic eggs
280 g flour
100 g of sugar
1 teaspoon Baking powder
100 ml of milk
1 pinch of salt
100 g peeled almonds

Preparation of the banana cake:
Preheat the oven to 170 degrees and grease a loaf pan with butter. Then stir the softened butter together with the sugar until foamy and gradually add the eggs, so that a nice, creamy mixture is created.
Then the bananas are peeled and chopped with a hand blender. Add the banana puree to the egg-butter-sugar mixture and stir well.
Now mix the flour with the baking powder and the salt and gradually stir into the dough, alternating with the milk.
Pour the finished batter into the loaf pan, smooth it out, sprinkle with the almonds and then bake in the oven for 40 minutes. Serve immediately after the baking time.
Things to know about banana cake:
This cake is a real source of energy because the bananas contain many good nutrients for the body. Among other things, a high content of fructose and potassium. Other vitamins stimulate the metabolism. To bake the cake healthier you can do without the sugar and replace it with agave syrup, for example.
